I'm not going to be a brother after all...

I'm a little sad that I will not be getting a brother, but it is probably for the best. Funny thing is, pop actually did come around, but then my mama had second thoughts! How weird is that!? I don't think my mama actually even believes it either. So, I'll be remaining an only dog for a little while longer. Maybe when we move into the house my parents are renovating, they'll rethink the whole family thing. I do want another canine to play with!

Speaking of having fun...

Yesterday on our walk, I was introduced to a sprinkler!

Some pups might be afraid of sprinklers, but I wasn't...I was super brave! I weighed my options, then decided to dive right in and cool off. It felt soooooooo good to get wet! And, the best part is - everyone in the neighborhood has one of these sprinklers, so we got a play in a bunch of them as we continued our walk.

Hey Sparky, Sorry about the brother thing, but the sprinkler is a pretty cool toy. I used to play with ours when I was a young pup.

Sparky you are so brave! I would never, ever get that close to a sprinkler...that must be from the beagle side of you! :)

Sorry about the brother thing, sometimes it's just not meant to be. Now you'll just all your mommy and daddy's attention

Sparky - that is so funny! You are so BRAVE!!! Hee hee!

Sorry about the no-brother contract right now. But like you said, once you get settled into the new house they'll probably change their minds. How could they risist another puggle for very long?!

I'm sorry about the brother thing Sparky! Being an only child is not so bad - honest! I was an "only" for 8 1/2 years before Mitch came along!
hummmmmmm I'm not sure I'd go near that sprinkler but I know Mitch would! He's the braver soul and he's a boy!

Love ya lots,
Maggie

Wow! That looks like TONS of fun! Mom says as soon as the grass cooperates with us, the sprinklers will come out instead of just the house. Now that I see how to play in them, I can't wait!! Mom refuses to water the weeds even though they make the yard look green.
